Private W Lawrence 7th (Queens Own) Hussars
The Man Little detail is known about W Lawrence except that he served in the 7th (Queens Own) Hussars and saw service in South Africa.
The medal is the disc only, and at present it is not known which clasps or other medals W Lawrence may be entitled to. It also seems this may be a re-named medal.
This medal is one I have not been able to find any detail on. It is in effect 'work in progress' as one day something additional may well be uncovered. Please feel free to contact me should you know of, or have any information on this man.
The Story It is unknown where the Queen’s South Africa medal disc came from. It also appears the medal is renamed as no detail can be found on the QSA Medal Rolls.
