Gone But Not Forgotten
Gunner Harry Adams Royal Artillery
The Man Harry Adams lived in Tamworth, Staffordshire and served during World War I in the Royal Artillery with service number 57811.
No further detail is currently known about Harry.
The Story The pair of medals awarded to Harry Adams were acquired from a work colleague, who had inherited them from his sister, the previous owner of her house, together with what are thought to be her husband’s World War II medals, although the link is not 100% definite.
They were of interest purely because it seemed a pity to leave them languishing in a drawer, when they could at least be put onto this web site in order to preserve Harry’s memory.
Sadly very little detail has been forthcoming and it has not been possible to establish to whom the World War II group belong, but as they came together they will remain together.
