Missing Medals or Broken Groups
This page is a summary of all my broken groups; that is to say those sets of medals where one or more of the originals is missing. A broken group can occur for many reasons, the most common being that the higher value silver ones are removed and sold literally for scrap value. Families often used to break up groups to hand one of each to children, and occasionally unscrupulous dealers, collectors or genuinely ignorant relatives will split groups in order to make more money! Whatever the reason it is beholden upon us Ordecomedologists to try to re-unite a persons full set of medals wherever possible.
