The Story The medals awarded to Ralph Harry Clarkson were acquired from the London Medal Company, in person, on 30th May 2022.
They had been seen some weeks before on their website and of interest because of the double long service combination, this spurring a further sub-theme in this collection, a Cadet Forces Medal with another Long Service medal.
The London Gazette and Ancestry enabled a brief biography to be compiled and it is possible, that Ralph was still alive, or had only recently died at the time of their acquisition as no details of his death could be found on ancestry or find my will.
