George Goodfellow Imperial Service
The Man George Goodfellow was born about 1905, most likely in Scotland.

The Story The Imperial Service Medal awarded to George Goodfellow was acquired from E-Bay on 9th April 2021 following an offer made. It was of interest because of the newspaper cutting showing a clear picture of George receiving the medal.
The London Gazette confirmed George’s award in October 1960 as a Postman in Edinburgh. However, despite a search of Ancestry.UK and Scotland’s people, no further detail could be found as there were several matches with an approximate birth year of 1905.
